Hi, my name is Richard Brown and I have a deep passion for dogs. I began studying canine behavior in 2016 through the Centre of Excellence while working full-time in the delivery service. I wanted to better understand the behaviours of the dogs I encountered daily.

After completing my first course, I was completely hooked and never looked back. I earned a Level 3 Canine Behaviour and Training Diploma, gaining lots of practical experience with the dogs I saw each day. After years of studying while working at Royal Mail, I left my job in 2024 to fully dedicate my time to studying and working with dogs.

I completed eight qualifications with the Centre of Excellence, then pursued an Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma with the British College of Canine Studies, which I passed with distinction in November 2024. I have also embarked on my journey with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and am now an IMDT Certified Professional Dog Walker. I am currently working towards becoming an IMDT Certified Professional Dog Trainer.

As someone who loves walking in the countryside and has a background in dog behaviour, I firmly believe that fulfilling a dog’s needs through enrichment and appropriate outlets is the best way to calm a frustrated dog and address problem behaviours. Without addressing a dog’s needs, achieving meaningful training results will be challenging for even the best dog trainer.

Here is the list of courses I have completed so far. I will update this as I continue my studies:
